WHY MEMBERSHIP?
TLCFM is a membership-based not-for-profit community radio station - we rely on community participation to operate. Listeners becoming financial supporters through Membership help TLCFM to stay on air.
All presenters, the board and volunteers are TLCFM Members.
Members pay a small annual fee to join, with discounts for concession card holders.
We offer two membership options:
BASIC MEMBERSHIP
As a TLCFM Member, you demonstrate your continued support for the station, gain the right to attend the Annual General Meeting, and have the opportunity to be involved in off air station operations.
You will also receive a Members Newsletter featuring behind-the-scenes insights into TLCFM, radio presenting tips, and content designed to strengthen your connection with the station community.
PRESENTER MEMBERSHIP
In addition to Basic Membership benefits, Presenter Membership is available to local members interested in presenting a radio show. Presenter Members will receive radio presenter training and guidance. No prior radio experience is needed, just a genuine enthusiasm for community radio. After successfully completing the training, you will have the opportunity to become a presenter on the station.
As a TLCFM Member you are contributing to great local community radio and an alternative source of music, information and news from The Lower Clarence.

We have over 40 community members currently presenting
their own radio show.
You don't have to be on air
to be involved!
All Members can contribute in off air roles around the station, or simply support it as a loyal listener.
You don't need to live in The Lower Clarence to join as a Basic Member - we have members from all across Australia helping to create the good vibes of the little white lighthouse.

Annual Membership Renewals are due on 30th June each year.
New Memberships paid between April and June
will cover Membership for the following year.
TLCFM volunteer
TLCFM exists because of invaluable Members who volunteer their time to make sure it does. On air or behind the scenes, we welcome volunteers who can commit to at least 2 hours a week (average show duration) for a minimum of 3 months. TLCFM has a wide diversity of volunteers - meet like-minded people and join the TLCFM crew!
All people at TLCFM are volunteers, no one is paid, we volunteer because we love community radio. Working in a replica lighthouse in beautiful Yamba is pretty awesome - music, nature, surf... magical!

TLCFM send in your music
TLCFM supports local acts and musicians. Our music programming supports Australian content and favours genres that receive minimal airplay elsewhere.
